Flying with Avelo Airlines DAY Terminal was an absolute pleasure for our family. With two kids in tow, we anticipated the usual travel stress, but Avelo and the DAY terminal delivered an unexpectedly smooth and enjoyable experience. Check-in at the terminal was fast and efficient. The staff at Avelo’s counter were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going out of their way to help us manage our luggage and get settled. They even provided helpful tips for navigating the terminal with kids, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The security checkpoint was equally seamless. DAY Airport’s layout is intuitive, and the TSA staff were kind and understanding of our needs as a family. It was reassuring to see how well-equipped the terminal was for families, with clear signage and plenty of room to maneuver strollers and carry-ons. The waiting area near Avelo’s gate was clean, spacious, and comfortable. Charging stations were readily available, and we had access to a variety of dining options to keep everyone satisfied before the flight. The kids enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, which made waiting for our departure a pleasant experience rather than a chore. Avelo’s boarding process was well-organized, with staff ensuring that families were given ample time to board and get settled. The crew’s kindness extended into the flight, where their attentiveness made our journey relaxing and enjoyable. This trip proved that air travel with kids doesn’t have to be stressful.
