I've been through JFK more times than I can recall, and to be honest, I don't typically think of it as a place of comfort or serenity. However, taking Virgin Atlantic out of Terminal 4 completely changed my perception of that. From the beginning, the entire experience seemed more elevated. Virgin had marked their check-in area very clearly as soon as I entered Terminal 4, and despite the busy terminal, the process felt quick and easy. The personnel was kind and helpful, assisting travelers without the hurried, impatient atmosphere that can occasionally be found at large international airports.
