I had always wanted to study overseas, but when the time arrived, I was struck by how emotional it was to be away from home for the first time. Since I was bringing extra luggage for my studies, I spoke with the Lufthansa Airlines Office in Munich, Germany prior to departure to gain a better understanding of baggage regulations and flight processes. My tension was quickly lessened by the staff's kindness and patience as they walked me through every step. I couldn't stop thinking about how different my time at university would be on the travel.
