The Tom Bradley International Terminal, a major international gateway at LAX, had undergone substantial modernization efforts, including a significant $1.9 billion renovation completed in 2013 and the subsequent $1.73 billion addition of the West Gates, which opened in May 2021.

Hawaiian Airlines primarily operates its departures and arrivals from the West Gates of Terminal B.
