Importing Leads

Submitting Leads One by One via Manual Data Entry (Importing Leads)

Leads can be submitted by manually entering in lead data for a Campaign in LeadConduit. This feature is especially handy for submitting test leads.

Complete the following steps to manually enter a lead.

1. Log in as an User.
2. Click the Tools tab.
3. Click the Import hyperlink.
4. In the Import Leads screen,
5. (Required) Select a Campaign from the pull-down list.
6. (Required) Select a Publisher from the pull-down list.
7. (Required) Click the Import a Single Lead hyperlink.
8. The Campaign Fields for the selected Campaign will appear on the screen.
9. (Required) Enter a Lead Date (or, alternatively, select the date using the Lead Date hyperlink).
10. Enter the appropriate field values into each of the Campaign Fields (Note the fields marked as "Required").
11. Click Continue.
12. The Lead Details screen will appear with imported lead appearing on the screen.

Submitting Leads via a Batch File (Importing Leads)

A partner may upload batch files of leads using the web-based account.

The batch file must meet the following conditions:

• Files must be in either comma delimited(CSV) or tab delimited format
• Files must contain a header row, with field names that match the field names for the campaign

Complete the following steps to submit leads using a batch file.

1. Log in as an User.
2. Click the Tools tab.
3. Click the Import hyperlink.
4. In the Import Leads screen,
5. Select a Campaign from the pull-down list.
6. Select a Publisher from the pull-down list.
7. Enter a Batch Date (or, alternatively, select the date using the Batch Date hyperlink).
8. Click the Browse button to navigate to the batch file.
9. Choose a delimiter (either tab or comma).
10. Click Continue.
11. The Lead data will be imported into the system.
