Hi everyone, I recently traveled on a red-eye flight out of Delta Airlines JFK Terminal and we were both surprised. Traveling late at night isn't always the best, and especially with family, but it was easier than expected. The check-in process was speedy, and security lines weren't even bad. The terminal was secure and well lit, even that late at night. We managed to find a small quiet spot to rest until our flight, and I was glad that it was clean and not cold as some airports can be at night. There were staff on hand and they were helpful—one of them assisted us in locating a water fountain. Nothing was available food-wise as it was a late time, but snacks were sufficient for us. Boarding was efficient and punctual. It seemed like Delta actually has things in hand here at this terminal, which is helpful when traveling with family on off-schedule flights. Would use this terminal again in a heartbeat.
