LeadConduit by ActiveProspect

Quick Start Guide

This Quick Start Guide is intended to give a first time LeadConduit user a starting point for learning about the application.

When you first log into your account, you'll notice seven menu items.  In addition to the HOME page, you'll see STATISTICS, LEADS, CAMPAIGNS, AFFILIATES, ADVERTISERS, DELIVERY, and ACCOUNT.  The titles should be fairly self-explanatory.  Each section offers robust functionality, but for simplicity's sake we can say that the starting point of LeadConduit is the Campaign.  In the simplest terms, all you'll need to do to get started is:

(1) Create your campaign

In general, creating a new campaign involves adding fields, validation criteria, and delivery options.  Campaign creation is done through the CAMPAIGNS tab.  Detailed instructions can be found here.  If you are not the final lead buyer for a campaign, you will first need to connect to the Advertiser who is the lead buyer.  Connections, such as this one, are how LeadConduit tracks lead flow for a campaign.  Once you're connected to the advertiser, you can see the company in your ADVERTISERS tab.  Additionally, you can now indicate the advertiser as the owner of a campaign.

(2) Share the campaign with your Affiliates

After creating a campaign, you must share it with at least one lead provider (also referred to as an affiliate).  But first you'll need to connect to them.  To get connected to an Affiliate, send them your Affiliate Sign Up Link, which is located at the top of your AFFILIATES tab.  Once the Affiliate completes the sign up page, you can see the company in your AFFILIATES tab.  Through this tab, you will also see that the number of campaigns being shared with the new Affiliate is 0.  Click on the hyper-linked 0 and follow the on-screen directions to share the campaign with the Affiliate.

Another way to share a campaign with an Affiliate is through the CAMPAIGNS tab.  Simply click on the hyper-linked "none" under "Affiliates" and follow the on-screen directions.

(3) View the Statistics

Once the campaign is live, you can view real-time statistics.  The main STATISTICS screen shows summary information by campaign and date range.  Detailed information can be viewed by drilling down into the data.  Through the Statistics page you can view financial information, breakouts by Affiliates, and lead detail status, among other things.

Other Functionality

DELIVERY - You can configure lead delivery for each of your campaigns.  Lead delivery moves data from LeadConduit to your web server (or email account, FTP, server etc). The delivery menu provides a place to check on the health of lead delivery across all your campaigns.

The help guide link takes you to the online User Guide, which is the best reference for detailed information about LeadConduit.
